A new page with local council news, activities and pictures

A large group of kids and parents gathered to celebrate the opening of the newly refurbished North Lane Play Area.

Council Chairman, Steve Woollas, spoke of the effort that has gone into planning and executing the project and thanked all the donors and local citizens who helped with the preparation of the site and the installation of new equipment.

The tape was finally cut and a rush of eager young legs clambered over the climbing frames and tried to see how high the swings would fly.
